Deem & National Car Rental jointly innovate business travel in China

Deem, a corporate planning and booking solutions provider, and National Car Rental are reportedly turning partners to make Chinese business travel a pleasant experience by working on the parameters of efficiency and convenience.

The San Francisco based tech company and the Missouri based car rental agency recently took to the press to announce the partnership. Sources claim that corporate travel in China can now be availed through the Deem Work Fource app or by booking through Deem’s travel management partner. These reservations made through Deem would be served by the National Car & Driver service offered by National Car Rental.

John F. Rizzo, CEO, President and COO, Deem stated that the company’s mission is to facilitate smooth, hassle-free corporate travel by offering world class transportation services, so that business travelers could concentrate on other productive stuff.

Rizzo further mentioned that Deem’s latest innovative Ground Work platform paired with the integration of Enterprise Holdings and the eHi Car Services allows business travelers to choose most appropriate corporate trips in China.

Incidentally, Enterprise Holdings is a strategic investor in eHi Car Services since 2012, and apparently used the investment as a gateway to enter the Chinese market. The investment made the car rental company a stakeholder in eHi by buying about 15% stake in the company. It also provided Enterprise Holdings a place in the auto service company’s board of directors.

According to reports, Enterprise Holdings is the owner of various car rental brands such as National Car Rental, Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent Car, ranked among the largest private companies in America. Meanwhile, the Deem Work Fource caters to over 50,000 corporate clients across 61 nations spanning 14 different languages.

eHi Auto Services is a leading car and driver rental provider in China and according to reports, operates across 200 cities.

According to Deem, eHi will start providing professional drivers and cars under the National Car Rental brand from the 1st of October, this year.
